Family Growth:
a. Encourage every family member to live out the roles that God has given them.
"Brothers should live as spiritual leaders in the family, while sisters should live in submission and support." (Ephesians 5:23-25)
b. Establish the family as the foundation for growth, mobilizing each household to become a unit of worship, service, and evangelism. (Deuteronomy 6:6-7, Joshua 24:15)
Small Group Shepherding:
(Acts 5:42; 1 Corinthians 16:19; Romans 16:5; Colossians 4:15)
a. Encourage brothers and sisters to join small groups to receive spiritual care.
b. Small group leaders and assistant leaders guide members to shepherd one another.
Reaching the Woodlands Community with the Love of the Lord:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these." (Mark 12:30-31)
"You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:14-16)
